
Healthy Services of Tampa knew they could be more profitable even in a highly competitive segment of healthcare. To help them get there, Healthy Services tapped AK Consultants & Healthcare to conduct a financial analysis and develop a new budget. As part of the project, AK recruited and trained a sales representative who then focused on building census. Healthy Services went from a census of 10 to 75 with the optimal payer sources for skilled home health services increasing by 650 percent. For the first time in Healthy Services history, it started operating in the black and is well-positioned to continue growing.
