Executive Coach – Leadership Development
Michael is an Executive Consultant emphasizing Business Assessment, Executive Coaching and Leadership Development. Michael has over 25 years of professional experience and has deployed that experience with clients including Alcoa, Cox Communications, Cisco Systems Inc., Chick-fil-A, Delta Airlines, HCA Healthcare, Merck and Rollins College (Graduate School of Business).
Michael spent nine years with Fluor/Daniel Engineering Group in Project Management and Human Resource Management before entering the management consulting area. His previous experience includes 15 years’ with three management consulting firms as a Vice President of Consulting, Area Vice President, Sr. Consulting Director, and Sr. Account Executive for Florida and Atlanta. He has Profit and Loss Experience and has successfully built and managed two Consulting Businesses.
Michael’s expertise is further delineated by engagements in his core areas of emphasis:
- Business Assessment and Change Execution: Michael works with executive teams to engage change execution processes and examine the current state of the organization around: customer turnover, acquisition costs, market share gain/loss, profit margin gain/loss, and the leadership culture. Results have been outlined in change execution deployment plans geared to accelerated implementation to a critical mass of the organization. These processes have been successfully used at AT&T Mobility, Chick-fil-A, Hilton International, Merck, Sun Microsystems, and UPS.
- Executive Coaching and Leadership Development: Michael conducts both executive and management development training programs for managers. Executive coaching is conducted at the C-level and senior executive levels using business assessments, 360° assessments, qualitative data gathering and individual one-on-one support. He is a certified Executive coach and has coached managers @ Alcoa, Cascade Corporation, Cisco Systems Inc. Cox Communications, Delta Airlines, Department of Defense (DOD), HCA Healthcare, Merck, The Ken Blanchard Companies and UPS.
- Business Development: Michael develops client accounts and provides both business development & consulting services to sales and operation teams. He has opened two consulting practices for professional services firms served as an Account Executive and turned them into profitable enterprises. Michael has published white papers on business issues addressing Service Quality, Customer Value/Retention and Leadership Disciplines for Managing Organizations through Major Change.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration & Economics from the University of Indianapolis and a Professional Certification in Organization Change Management. He has an MBA from Rollins College-Crummer Graduate Business School. Michael is also a Certified Executive Coach (Assess Profile, Emotional Intelligence, Hogan Assessments & Leadership Circle Institute). He is a Veteran of the United States Army and served honorably for six years.
